if there is no news out of the club explaining why sam has gone and how the club tried to stop him going and what the club is doing about a replacement, you can not expect to sell many season tickets.

 

you are responible for getting some information to people in the next few days.

 

just the fact, honest and open, the longer you leave it the less likely people are to believe you and renew their tickets.

 

ypiu have been responsible for tuning the club around alongside sam it is time for you to show the leadership to convince people there is life after sam.

 

the letter with season ticket renewal is from big sam....what do you have to say ???

Yes gartside should give as much info as possible as to why Sam has quit, unfortunately he has said they are private so not much he can say there, I think we have to take time in appointing the right man for the job, unfortunately this will affect our transfer plans, deals lined up will have to be put on hold until the manager is appointed, in short it is a very bad timing, It is up to the true bolton fans to support the club and renew season tickets, but I fear this may put many off until the new manageris appointed, personally I will now renew sooner than I had planned the club needs our support.

Many people did not watch Bolton because of our style of play under Sam, now he's gone maybe those people will think the football will be better to watch and will get a season ticket. Also people might get a season ticket just for the fact that things have changed, it is a new era and some people might get a season ticket to experience it.

Gartside has an obligation and loyalty to the fans not just sam.

I didn't renew my season ticket this year (although i still went to every home game bar two or three). However,though i appreciate Sam's style was effective it was bad to watch and i for one am almost certain to return to the season ticket holding ranks now that a change is on the horizon.

look at all the rumours, the club needs to be honest about this, as mentioned the truth will come out eventually, the club can either leave it and let rumours filter out or they can be seen to be leading on this.

 

i bet we have all had good bosses at work and bad ones, what would a good boss do ? let the rumours hang around and affect people or get it sorted ?
