My idea of a ?2m replacmeent for Jussi is not this fat thug.

He's a good keeper, but not as good as Jussi.

personally i think Kenny would be a bad move from litttle Sam

 

he is a little bit top heavy to be a class keeper imo

We should be looking at Carson IMO

if he's any good he's good enough for me

 

I don't think there are any bad keepers in the prem

 

and not very many class ones, 3 maybe 4 tops

 

we have a class one at the minute, be tough to replace with another class one

Doesn't make anyone a thug though. If you mate is shagging your wife he deserves being filled in. The fact is Paddy came off second best by all accounts.

From what i've seen I don't think Carson is any better than Kenny. However he is only a young lad, so i time he should mature into a better keeper.

I agree it'd be a blow to lose Jussi with his recent form but Paddy would be ideal. I'd feel confident with him in the sticks and even now I still cringe when the crosses come in and balls laid back to Jussi.

Goalkeepers don't just save penalties in games. Sometimes a team doesn't get to one penalty shoot out all season and a lot of it is down to pot luck anyway.

 

Judge a keeper on his overall game not on which side he guesses for a penalty

Carson was piss poor on last night pen shoot out , but throughout the comp he has been very solid and composed, Kenny is older and more experienced, but I think Carson has more room for improvement and if we can get barber working with him will be a top keeper in my humble opinion.

Just because Carson plays for England U21's doesn't make him a class keeper.

 

What about Kenny keeping out Shay Given and Dean Kiely in the ROI team??
