The 32 year-old centre-half has been told he is surplus to requirements by Rovers boss Mark Hughes and could leave for around ?500,000. Todd - who has been linked with Wigan, Bolton, Sunderland, Derby and Coventry - is on holiday until Sunday, but his agent Peter Harrison revealed a deal could be struck next week. He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I've spoken to three clubs about Andy who are all in England, two in the Premiership and one from the Championship. "We're hoping by the start of next week that something can be sorted out." Todd moved to Ewood Park in 2002 from Charlton and despite being transfer-listed and loaned out to rivals Burnley for kicking out at Bolton's Christophe Dugarry, he managed to regain his place and was made captain when Barry Ferguson left for Rangers. June 28, 200719 yr I dont think Andy Todd would be a bad signing. He is 32 but has never been blessed with pace. He makes up for this with his ability to read the game.
