HuffyTheCampfireSlayer Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 What the hell is the deal with ITV coverage, watched the cup highlights last night and it was about 1 hour of Tottenham and Chelski, then what felt like one hour of Robbie Earl droning on then finally 5 minutes of all the other games. Oh and not to mentin the 5 minute piece on Alan Sugar Anyway I discovered today that apparently Fulham had a goal disallowed, anyone actually know if it was onside or not as ITV saw fit not to show that?

BossHog Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 (edited) both sides had goals ruled out i think Ours looked off-side though! Edited September 27, 2007 by BossHog
no balls Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Anyway I discovered today that apparently Fulham had a goal disallowed, anyone actually know if it was onside or not as ITV saw fit not to show that? Dickie Davies* reckoned it was offside on SSN last night. *And again, I ask, is he related to the WOS legend?
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 Two disallowed goals?? Yup ITV really know how to cut it on the sports coverage. YOu know, if we do get relegated (i know there is still a long way to go), I think one of the worst aspects would be that our highlights would be in ITV's the championship.
Guest as Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 F?ck ITV, f?ck BBC, f?ck the Daily Mirror...........in short, f?ck the media. I like supporting an 'unfashionable' club anyway
Superwhite Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Anyway I discovered today that apparently Fulham had a goal disallowed, anyone actually know if it was onside or not as ITV saw fit not to show that? What the same disallowed 'goal' 5Live saw fit to mention on their sports headlines at 8am that Lawrie Sanchez was seething about? Aren't ITV brilliant!?!

YATESY Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Irrelevant of how long the Spurs v Boro' game was on - what I couldn't understand is why pick it in the first place as your main game.

enzo gambaro Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 since when have spurs and chelsea been in the itv region nobs all of them The whole of the UK is an ITV region. They all piss in the same pot since Granada and Carlton merged a few years back.
YATESY Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Who would have thought it, but I say - bring back Elton Welsby and Granada Soccer Night!

jayjayoghani Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Anyone remember Midweek Sports Special with Nick Owen? We were all waiting up for Liverpool v Man Utd in some Littlewoods Cup match, then that f?cker announces with a wry smile they were putting the Indoor Bowls on first. Tw?t.
wovlad Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 On 5 lives football show last night the one that usually happens on a Friday night. One of the pundits said that it disallowed goal was very close, his feet were onside and his upper body offside. Another point he made was that he did'nt think Healy's goal crossed the line? Is he right?.
