Smiffs Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 You're a set of workshy c?nts. I'd sack the f?ckin lot of you and give your jobs to the Poles.
Moderators Carlos Posted October 4, 2007 Moderators Posted October 4, 2007 There will be no postal deliveries until next Wednesday, like we'd notice any difference. Workshycunts.
Site Supporter Spider Posted October 4, 2007 Site Supporter Posted October 4, 2007 Commie b?stards. They'll be holding posters of Scargill next the idle gets. Still, on the bright side no bills for a week.
Smiffs Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 Apparently, some of them might have to work past dinner time if a colleague is off ill.
BWFCOLINH58 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 get a life you sanctamonious pricks, if your postie delivers your mail early , he gets the privilage of finishing early, royal mail want any hours saved to be used later.... hence ...your postie will be a lot later if rm get their way. and if you want your mail on time , and at the correct address . put the true address details on your mail.. i did 15 years as a postie, and the number of letters i saw addressed to mr ???? at number ???? that alll the posties knew was wrong, we still had to deliver to said wrong address. it is the rules. how many of you know your relatives true address/ postcode ???? not many i will wager
no balls Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I'm with Smiffs on this one. Sack the f?ckers and replace them with folk who want to do a day's work.

BWFCOLINH58 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 does that include using the net all day????? get a grip
jimmyjoojar Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 if your postie delivers your mail early , he gets the privilage of finishing early, We're not talking about finishing a little bit early though are we. Some of these lazy cunts are finishing hours early and getting paid for their full day. I know plenty of people who work for the Royal Mail and they openly admit that its a total joke. Can get away with murder and no fucker will check up on them. Someday in the future private business will see off the Royal Mail, and these lazy arses will get the shock of their lives when they have to get another job.
BWFCOLINH58 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 is this bit the reason theyre on strike cos, if its not, its not really relevant you do the job , and call it a day job done. it is simple

Moderators Carlos Posted October 4, 2007 Moderators Posted October 4, 2007 Our postie's round would take a lot longer if he got people to sign for things, workshycunt.
Exiled Girl Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 You're a set of workshy c?nts. I'd sack the f?ckin lot of you and give your jobs to the Poles. Don't I recall people on here complaining about post "going missing"? The higher the number of post deliverers who don't speak English as a first language, the more the post goes missing. Someday in the future private business will see off the Royal Mail, and these lazy arses will get the shock of their lives when they have to get another job. Yep. And the customer will get a shock when the price of posting a letter goes up to the full economically viable rate.
Smiffs Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 So now they're being asked to do the odd full shift, and don't fancy the idea? My heart bleeds, it really does. Col, you work for someone, lets say the money due to him for the work he's done does not arrive, and he says 'Sorry Col, no wages for you this week because the postie didnt bring the cheque we were due, so there's f?ck all in the bank to cover it' Would you be happy?

revdishydave Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 sorry folks, i am with col on this one (speaking of which...) i have a few mates who are posties, and for every shit trip to wardley i have had at least ten alternative arrangements, i would much prefer the personal touch/easier option than a robot delivery set to times and procedure. one of my happiest memories as a kid was seeing my local postie in a bright yellow RBK hat, arguing with a steward because he got off early, and god damn it poeple thats what made this country what it is/was
jimmyjoojar Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 and they have done the job asked of them !!!! The Royal Mail is losing money left right and centre. Should they continue to let this happen and pay people over the odds for hours they aren't actually doing? Or should they try to tackle this problem? The Royal Mail doesn't owe anyone a job, if people these deluded posties believe that they should be paid indefinately for hours they don't do then they should be replaced by people who actually want the job. As i've progressed in my job, I've become more efficient. Tasks don't take as long as they would have done a few years ago. Do i expect to be able to leave early because of that? Or do i get given more work/responsibility?

jimmyjoojar Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 you get ont tinternet to drag it out, don't you Not as much as i'd like!
Exiled Girl Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 and if it meant parcels were delivered when there was a bit of a chance of somebody being in, thatd be another I pay the extra to Amazon so that the Post Office will deliver it - and if I'm not in I can get to the sorting office which is 2 miles away. The last 4 parcels I've had delivered by others I've had to go collect from Reading (20 odd miles), Abingdon (72 miles round trip, that's UPS for you) and had left in my dustbin, only good luck and fortnightly bin collections meaning that they didn't get taken to landfill.

BWFCOLINH58 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Our postie's round would take a lot longer if he got people to sign for things, workshycunt. if you are talking recorded deliveries, there is no need for a signature. and he could waste more time with every tosser who asks why do i have to sign ? what is it ? if its a bill you can have it back etc
BWFCOLINH58 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 my last word on this, will all you posters, please let us know when you are logged on at work pot kettle black.......................................
Ani Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 my last word on this, will all you posters, please let us know when you are logged on at work pot kettle black....................................... if someone is on the net at work they can then do something else after, if a postie is logged on at home then thye have finished for the day. i have 5 staff who work for me, over a week they have a set number of jobs to do, if one of those jobs finshes quicker than expected they do not go they get more work. col if your agruement is that postie should be allowed to go home because they have done everything asked of them do you have a porblem if they are also asked to do a bit more when there is time ? if there is no mor to do there must be too many people.
