No thanks !!

Not proven enough for league one never mind the Premiership relegation zone.

and the other names quoted have?

The more half baked names that we are being linked with - the more I am getting drawn to Paul Ince.

Took Macc from an impossible position adrfit at the foot of the league and kept them up against all the odds.

Moved to a new challenge at MK and they are top of the league.

He has made an impressive start to his managerial career - in a way better than Fat Sam before we took a punt on him.

Somebody will take an educated gamble on Paul Ince soon - so why not us? He will be far more hungry and demand more respect from the players than the likes of Sourness, Megson etc.

Paul Ince would struggle to command the respect of players in the calibre of Anelka, Diouf and even smaller ones like Stelios and McCann.

Fair play to the guy for the work he has done at Macc but MK Dons are by far the best team in that league and anyone in their right mind could get them to the top of the table.

As for him managing in the premiership, its a huge step from league two and I feel that we need someone with proven Premiership (or equal to) experience who will know what to face when he takes over. If Ince comes in it may take him months to get used to the premiership way of management (which is far different from playing in the prem) and by that time we could be down and out.

absolute bullshit

i can't stand him, and i don't think he's right for the job, but his career stands scrutiny against most

certainly diouf, stelios and mccann

Totally agree Casino as far as the respect from players bit goes, I think the clue is in his username though, totally blinkered becasue of his playing background.

I would definatley have him in charge, a dam sight better than most we have been linked with and if he manages like he plays he wont take no shit. He wouldnt have much trouble attracting decent players imo as well. If you was a player who would you rather play for Ince or Megson??? The premiership experience factor is balls as well, look at Allardyce.

I really need to change that username !! I was merely a boy when i first logged on here !

I have nothing against an ex-Scum player taking over if they would fit the bill - Hughes, Keane, Bruce

You might be stuck with the user name but you can change your Avatar anytime you like!

was just gonna ask about that...avatar changed.

No way can Paul ince manage us, nothing to do with his scum connections.

The fact is he doesn't have the experience to get us out of this shit.

I'd say Macclesfield were knee deep in shit when he took over.

They were, but Horton (I think) had spent quite a bit of money and they were never ever going to go down, things just weren't happening

The more I think about this I would actually consider it! Similar early background top Big Sam with Blackpool and Notts County! Staright talking! Played at the highest level! Maybe Gartside as considered him!

Refer to Casino's quote about darts in another thread, one lucky punt doesnt make it seem every one will be as good.

Proven Prem manager is what we need.

such as?

I'd rather attack Ince and do prison than let him manage my club. It's that simple.

I think we have to go foreign.

such as?

The ones already mentioned

Coleman is my choice, but others include Jewell, Bruce, Souness (they are all above Ince in my pecking order)

coleman and jewell possibly bruce is a proven manager he's proven he can get clubs relegated

No to Ince it has to be either Coleman or Jewel

coleman and jewell possibly bruce is a proven manager he's proven he can get clubs relegated

He got Brimingham relegated in one season out of his 5-6 in charge, what about getting them promoted twice and keeping them up for a couple of years.

So other managers like boothroyd would be a no-no because they have been relegated ?

If you got Judas, I would want you to finish bottom of the league.

Not that any of you will care!
