I think our support in the first half was THE worst I've ever seen at a home game, spanning back 30 years and incorporating all sorts of irrelevent competitions.

i agree they are crying out for our support,come int n/stand lower & lets get a song going,pubs are great for watching

footy but not your home team at home,nobody in n/s/lower says sit down or slags the team off where i sit ,so come&

I'm afraid that the Premiership is the most exciting league in the world - but only for the armchair fan. However the spectating fan has to put up with a sanitised 'matchday experience' at a sterile, out-of-town, identikit stadium - BWFC being a prime example.

 

Over the last 20 years the development in TV coverage (build-up, special effects, hysteria, wall-to-wall coverage) has been immense. Meanwhile the BWFC 'matchday experience' has slumped hopelessly, in spite the upturn in fortunes on the pitch.

 

I think the board need to consider why 5000 fans are prepared to spend ?350 on a couple of days in Munich where the game is the fundamental reason for their visit, but aren't prepared to spend ?350 on a season ticket getting them into 19 home games.

The reason is 19 games at the Reebok didnt even touch the 2 days we had in Munich.

 

BWFC fcuked up by pricing their 2006/2007 ST's at a price that made it not in the fans interest to buy a ST. Plenty of the fans have done just that, once you dont buy a ST, you find it harder to go.

Is right. How can you moan about the atmosphere if you're sat in the pub watching the game. Don't mind people moaning about the atmosphere because we know it's not good but you're not exactly doing anything to help are you. Wish people would stop making excuses if they are not willing to be apart of the solution

But i watched a bit of inter v ac and that was shite and caught the 2nd half of real v barca, was a real end to end affair unlike when the big four meet and its just a shit old 90 mins of kicking each other and shouting at the ref!

Not just the football on offer, the whole experience.

I agree with the point about ST.

 

Living 200 miles away, for 5 years I continued to get a ST. Even under the dross 8-1-1 of FSA, I still went as I had already paid for my ticket, so the cost of the petrol didn't seem too unrealistic. Now to go to a game, its ticket, plus petrol etc.

 

So I miss the odd game.

 

However, we are hardly over pricing our selves. An average of about ?21 per game is more than resonable for a ST

As excuses for non-attendance goes, this is the worst yet. If you don't want to go, then that's up to you, to blame not going on the fans that actually go, I don't know what else to say, you should probably move to Liverpool, everyone's fault but your own is their mantra.

I thought the Birmingham fans made more noise in the first half. I for one did my best to make some noise but ESL didn't seem interested. A few more wins and I'm sure the Reebok roar will be back to full strength.
