That will become a real and urgent necessity next week.

Not only is he going to the African Cup of Nations, his country are expected to go all the way to the final 4, so he could be away until Feb 10th: the day of the final and then he'll probably be given a couple of weeks rest time. This means he is likely to miss the next 5 league games after the Sheffield United cup tie, as will El Hadji Diouf, whose Senegalese team are also well fancied this year.

This has been a season for re-writing history though.....Man Utd and Wigan hadn't lost at the Reebok until Meggo took over.

helguson played for our second team last week so coud be back soon. i allways liked him at fulham
