First time I've read it in years but I'm bored at work

Front page concerning young shaun who was arrested in Munich for the counterfeiting charges, aged 34? and isn't it a bit late, also who was the 'Friend who didn't want to be named'

Then Micky D larging it up again

What a load of sh?te, contained absolutely no news at all except somebody from Hibernia St getting arrested for stealing a jar of coffee and 'some' pies from Poundstretcher

I'm going to buy the Daily Star now as the pictures are much better and I can finish the crossword

Bolton News? I'm in the Manchester Evening News today. Page 16 I think they said. :D

Oh, and the good people from Niquitin Clear are paying for a European Jolly in Madrid.

Oh, and the good people from Niquitin Clear are paying for a European Jolly in Madrid.

I made a point of picking up a free one in mcr city centre.

How much have you saved this year?

Can somebody scan and post them.

Just had a look at the Bolton News on-line, if this is head line news well done to GMP for clearing up crime and speeding motorists.

A RARE pea last grown in Bolton has been saved from the brink of extinction.

Table-Talk, as it is known, was one of 800 vegetables highlighted by the Garden Organic as having been brought back from the verge of extinction.

The pea was originally donated to the Heritage Seed Library (HSL), which is run by Garden Organic, by a Mr Schofield of Bolton, who had been growing it since 1940. Apparently he had obtained it from a relative in Yorkshire.

Did I mention, we have clocks in our office, both with the same time, but with a sign for Leeds, which says "20 years ago"

That was a funny little highlight of the TMG Belgrade do; on the way down the "air host" said "welcome to Belgrade, the weather is warm, 5 degrees and the time is 100 years ago", or similar.

On the way back, he said "welcome back to the flight back to civilisation" Quite amusing.

Apologies if posted elsewhere, haven't seen.

So that's why he was away from the board for so long.

There was a follow up to this story regarding the fella who donated said pea...well he died recently and the BEN did an article on him..as I scrolled down there were two comments which were then removed a day or so later

The first said

"May he rest in peas"

the second said

"He will now be living on the marrowfat of the land"

Why the BEN removed this is beyond me, as it was by far the best thing i'd read on there in years.

So that's why he was away from the board for so long.
