For those interested i have been able to get a return to Villa for ?21 on saturday 5th April. Virgin Trains website. Might sound cray after sunday's debacle but a good day out on the beer if anything and at a decent price. :drinks:

Me + 1 will be attending

bought train tickets for Spurs and Villa. Until Sunday, I'd done more european away than domestic, so evening things out now!

On a positive note remember when we needed to win there about 8 years ago and were given no chance? We won 3-1 with a goal from Neil Cox and Nathan Blake (poss 2), i am trying to remain upbeat even tho i dont believe it myself.

Yep, Villa on the train for me.

Can't seem to get cheap tickets for Spurs or Chelsea though.

Has anyone booked spurs and if so when ?

if thats the one I'm thinking of, I was on the front row and was on MOTD when Blake ran over to us celebrating.

Just a note its cheaper to book 2 singles than a return. Also on my last visit earlier @ Brum this season, i seem to remember a very nice and accomodating Polish Girl behind the bar at the 'Yard of Ale' - worth a visit for that!

Robbie earle scored for them i think. My dad got us corporates through his work, he aint into football, got us good seats just behind that brian little who was in charge of them if memory serves me right. Me dad kept sayin "sit down ste for fucks sake" as i got progressively less arsed about being in the home end!! Went back into the nearest conny club with a massive grin proudly wearing my bolton top! haha, the things you can get away with when your younger...

Good times!

booked the tickets on friday once we didn't think the date the match was being played would be changed. Booked them from wigan, don't know if that made a difference? cost us ?20 each

Yeah it was Ian Taylor from about 30 yards. Robbie Earle never played for Villa.

Neil Cox, Bobby Taylor and Nathan Blake for us.

I remember the bloke in the seat in front of me moaning because my knees were in the back of his seat when I sat down before kick off

And they say it's bad now!
