Cookery Question

She says to us on the way out this morning 'can you cook that joint for tea'.

I said ok but this joint is huge (beef butties all week) and 4 and a half hours after taking it out of the freezer and putting it on the work top its not even thinking about defrosting.

If I put it int oven on like 50-100 degree's will it be reet?

I reckon you're knackered now (unless you eat on Mediterranean time at your house), but put it in a plastic bag and bung it in some lukewarm water.

Serving at 8.30/9.00pm, sink is filling

Edit : FAO Asda & Tesco, not everyone is a fooking idiot who cannot be trusted with plastic bags. Stop putting breathing holes in them!!!!!

FAO CO-OP thanks for realising everyone is not a fooking idiot who cannot be trusted with plastic bags. Thanks for not putting breathing holes in them.

They're 5p each at Marks & Spencer from today, or 10p for a bag for life which really is a stupid name as it really depends on how long you're going to live. Can't see a bag lasting another 40 years like i'm hoping I do. Then again they don't specify who's life it;s going to last for, good get out clause there, I suppose if you were to complain when the handles fall off.

Just saying like, carry on......

Everyone knows the defrost button doesn't actually work

Is this all this holes in bags talk a cry for help or are you an s&m kind of a bloke, Baz?

Just asking like.

As a previous winner of young caterer of the year I suggest that you are knackered!

I never defrost meat in ovens or microwave - you can never be too careful! Im afraid you have to wait to use it!

I would suggest getting something else and save that for tomorrow!

get to farm foods, they do a cracking joint which can be cooked in about 30 mins from frozen, she'll never know the difference

Roadkill is quick and easy to cook.

She'll never know the difference. If she says it's a bit furry and bruised, tell her it's organic and Crawley said it's good for you.

Fenny's the WW expert on joints.

Not all men who like cookery are Gay,i at college 2 nights a week learning how to cook.

I am not afraid to admit it too. <_<

Dont like to eat shite and since doing my course i eat like a king ever nite.

Cue abuse :pardon:

I enjoy cooking, naturally, and I once followed in the steps of Jamie oliver but kept burning my cock and bollocks on the hob.

I've recently had a new kitchen fitted. Apart from the flooring, it is completed. Course, I don't tell anybody that and as a result I've only made 2 meals for myself in the last 4 weeks - result :good:
