Why Renew

Featured Replies

As a full price paying adult, I fcuking detest cheap kids tickets. Why should I be paying ?39 for a seat when the 15 year old kid in ?100 trainers sat next to me has paid 49p? It just ain't happening, and to recoupe that ?39, BWFC are going to have to sell what, 75 kids tickets. It's nonsense.

get a life ya meldrew

I will be renewing my season ticket because BWFC are the club I support, by support that means financially, if we all took the view that we was not going to buy a season ticket, where would the club we purport to love be? I want the best possible for BWFC, OK we are never going to be a massive club but if you can afford it, a season ticket is the best way to show the club your support.

i aint concerned about lining the clubs pockets been doing it all my life, but it aint my reason to go.

i will renew for the convenience and hastle at home. once bought its out of the way and it stops the missus wingin about finding the money for the match week in week out.

without the cheap kid's ticket i would be out as i suspect others with kids would be.

It's not the cost that stops me buying one.

They just don't represent value for money IMO. I don't attend night games, due to my working hours and I can't make lunchtime games because my son plays football and watching him is more important to me.

Therefore, the most cost effective way for me to follow the Whites is to join the membership scheme, as I have for the past 4 years.

if people want to renew, fair enough

if they do not fair enough

it aint a pissing contest.

by the same token its ok for davies/gartside to say to those that don't turn out to say we don't want to spend owt - we're in this to line our pockets

free world n all that

Didn't renew for last season, and still went to a few matches.......now let us see if there is anything there to make me part with my money for next season

It's a simple concept, apologies if you don't understand it but I don't hand over my money unless something represents good value. That's probably why I've got more of it that you.

JSL.

I'm not renewing looking forward to going to a few matches for a fiver.. Great incentive for season ticket holders that..

see, i'm not sure how you come to your decision

for me, theres no way of knowing before hand if a football match will provide 'value'

You could say that for anything really, I base it on whether the people around me are paying the same price. If not, I'm being ripped off; simple.

I wont be buying one this time around because elephants never forget. Yep, the uefa cup has angered me beyond anything else, also Megson and Gartside are still around. I do have other things to do Saturdays. I shall however get to a few games.

Hows about Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays?

This is not having a go at anyone, but i think some people just cant be arsed going anymore,

but they just wont admit it.At the end of the day its only ?400 or ?10 a week if like me you pay

monthly.Like someone has said you do or yer dont.Watching it in a pub is pants, the only place to watch

it is the Reebok for me. :good:

If I don't renew, I won't go...won't pay upto ?38 per game but BWFC are a big part of my life

Got good seats with a decent set of lads round me

In a routine now, 14th ST year

Used to pay cash on the turnstiles for a few years at Burnden but I'm prefer the ST for the hassle factor. Doubt I would have attended the Derby Home game on Jan 2 if I didn't have a ST and even though it was freezing, could have missed out on the buzz when Stelios scored late on

Ditto that 15th season for me.

Junior Fbat want's me to renew her's for the 4th season.

We keep the same seats and know the people around us.

Not only that I couldn't afford ?60 every fortnight for 2 tickets.

If it costs me less for 2 season tickets this season compared to last, then that is a result bearing in mind everything in the world is going up in price instead of my wages :good:

a lot of people wouldn't want to pay ?39 to watch a match at the reebok on a cold rainy day when they can watch it in a warm pub, save money and have a few pints in the process. This seems to be the mentality of a lot of bolton fans these days.. its not like theres any atmosphere any more, sure theres a singing corner under the screen but theres no proper section like behind the goals. I went watching sheff utd v cardiff this year just to kill an evening (not that i like either of them) and sat behind the goals and all the singers were in one place creating a decent atmosphere. Thats the one thing the reebok is lacking. The stand names at the reebok should be called the embankment, lever end, manny road and the burnden paddock so people could move to relatively the same parts of the ground. When we moved every body got spread all over the show dilluting the atmosphere. I'll still be reniewing though its still bwfc! =D>
