bwfcy2k Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Ok, Anybody know the procedure for claiming money back for a cancelled flight? Was literally at the gate - then it was cancelled. Next flight out tomorrow morning but only 10 seats left so everybody ran to the desk to get on it. I rang home and got somebody to do it online for me at ?105. Problem is....it's EasyJet. Do I contact them or travel insurance?

Answer If your flight was cancelled and you wish to transfer onto another flight, you can do it online. Mike Hunt Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I though it depends on why it was cancelled - if they claim weather etc, then tough sh!t is their attitude
freds dad Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Have a look at this website http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=12...amp;pageid=6480 You may have to dig a bit but don't let the Easyjet bar stards fob you off.
Smiley Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 This was always my fear when I had flight to Madrid and then Madrid to Lanzarote. What if they cancelled the first leg of my flight? Would they offer compensation for the 2nd leg? I guessed not. Which made it quite a risk. Can they cancel a flight due to poor seat sales? And if so, what is the minimum number of seats sold for the flight to go ahead.

I was on a BA flight to Edinburgh Aug Bank Holiday Monday two years ago, 9 passengers + crew and 7 of the passengers where crew for another flight from Edinburgh. Lets say the drinks etc where quickly dealt with.

It was on a budget airlive call "Buzz" or something (I think they were related to KLM) - anyway, they don't exist anymore, hardly suprising

Bobcat Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 (edited) had a 8 hr delay once with sleezy jet... went home f*cked off the trip and got a full refund... vowed never to travel with the shithouses again. Edited August 15, 2008 by Bobcat
Carlos Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 had a 8 hr delay once with sleezy jet... went home f*cked off the trip and got a full refund... vowed never to travel with the shithouses again. Because other airlines don't have delays or cancel flights?
