0-0 after 15 minutes but Elmander is off with an injury. Gavin McCann is on. I hope its not serious otherwise our season is up the spout!!!!

Aye, out for the season no doubt! Not a good start, not a good start at all.

not great news, hope his injury isn't something serious

Stoke have just scored, imagine the inbred cum fest going on over there. Come on villa....

Nolan's missed a penalty. :angry2:

Owen scores.

Surely the mighty mickeys must be winning at home?

even stoke are winning

normal service has resumed

cannot miss penalties away from home and get a result

the scouser has cost us a point - feckin hell

we need to beat WBA next week

no, you guessed wrong

F?cking hell, doom and gloom on this thread or what. Newcastle away, first away game of the season, can't really expect much anyway at the best of times; a 1-0 defeat is probably expected.

in the heat of the moment we are allowed to be fed up aren't we?

I agree - expected nowt today, but it still hurts when we could have had a point

What I mean is we need to beat teams like WBA - it is critical or we will be in the same position as last year

On paper, away at newcastle, i personally wouldnt go up there with proper good intentions and be disappointed if we lost

sorry but thats 3 points chucked away on balance of play missed chances etc, penalty practice on monday think thats 3 of last five missed. and who the fcuk are newcastle, i will tell you nobody, nearly relegated last year. manu arsenal liverpool chelsea etc they are not, if you start writing games off against teams like this you will be fooked.

its certainly the last 3 missed, we've missed every Pen we've had since BSA left (purely a co-incidence)
