Well, according to Tylswhite, our first target was the lad from Sporting that we bid ?5M for.

 

So it's not like anyone has been sitting on their hands. So Harper was Plan B anyway.

Well, A or B, it's a piss poor result for 4 months work.

Well, for a start, Davies has scored a lot more goals than that. Was that supposed to be witty?

Can't see anything happening now - no-one is going to sell anyone of note without having someone else lined up. So that means a seriously out-of-favour player or someone who a team is desperate to get off the wage bill if you're lucky.

I think we're in a for a long season going with what we've got, but my point was that I'd rather go with what we've got than bring in the likes of Alonso, Braaten, Cid etc. With that calibre of addition, the season wouldn't be as long: we'd be down by Easter.

 

What we've got has to see us through to january now, hopefully we'll not be in trouble and new arrivals will come to bolster the squad.

 

 

I think we're all disappointed, but we need to get behind the lads now.
