FCUKING Satalites

What, is this word association or sommat?

You might as well have said 'because it f?ckin is'.

If they are that f?ckin good how come my Sky signal goes wonky when it w?nks it down?

Now I reckon I've busted Sky and their satellites alledgedly bobbing about in the sky. They've no satellites at all!

When I moved into my current abode I had to pay silly money for a special pole etc as I have trees & a grassy knoll across the road. When I enquired as to how a bit of a hill and a few leaves can stop me receiving something from up in the big sky, no one could really reply sufficiently.

Satellites, my arse!

I saw a bit of it on Sky New before. Now, why have some other scientists tried to get an injunction out so they can't do this?

Are they:

a ) Bitter

b ) Correct in saying this could well be the end of the world

BTW, I don't like the sound of it all. We were supposed to stump up a fiver each for Robbie Nobhead's football charity for a worthy cause but some bloke who used to play in a rave band and his mates have drummed up billions to do this. Is it going to be worth it?

I got a B in O level physics, f?ck knows how, so please explain slowly and clearly, it wasn't my best subject.

Neither I would say.

The experiment as never been done before but according to the report I posted earlier in this thread the top scientists say this -

"Over the past billions of years, nature has already generated on Earth as many collisions as about a million LHC experiments - and the planet still exists."

Of course they may be wrong and hence why the others are trying to stop the experiment.

But think of it this way - people once believed the earth to be flat until someone decided to sail further and further and did not drop off the 'end'. There were probably people back then who wanted to stop their nearest and dearest from sailing because they were frightened for their safety.

To be honest I think we've already done more damage to this planet with global warming and fecking the ozone layer than anything that will come from smashing a few particles into each other.

Sleep well tonight NB, the world will still be there tomorrow when you wake up - as it always is.

Your dish picks up from a antenna may be 70 miles away what ever falls of the trees & rain fall will always affect it skt is shit i live in devon and its really shit lots of trees

You are encouranged to swear.

f?cking c?ntbubbling tw?tstained wanksock, for example.

So, how do these twatting satalites know the c?nting universe is getting pissfrothing bigger, if they can't get a w?nky signal through a couple of f?cking leaves. The bastards.

I want to know, how do they know the universe is getting bigger and bigger?

By the light of stars!

"Dark energy entered the astronomical scene in 1998, after two groups of astronomers made a survey of exploding stars, or supernovas, in a number of distant galaxies. These researchers found that the supernovas were dimmer than they should have been, and that meant they were farther away than they should have been. The only way for that to happen, the astronomers realized, was if the expansion of the universe had sped up at some time in the past."

Put simply we are looking out at other stars - but the other stars are not stood still - they are moving away from us - we know this from measuring the brightness of their light - therefore the universe is expanding.

There is a theory that once it reaches a certain point it will begin to collapse back on itself - a bit like the swing of a pendulum - but we don't really know for sure - maybe one day we will.

You are encouranged to swear.

Happen as maybe, but the webcam request is surely worthy of a warning! :nea:

Because the satalites are in space, so is sky but sky transmit to signals on earth then to you so not from space directley

Why, you let the rest of us watch it!

I cannot work mine it got washed in bear :drinks:

Was it worth it or are you still getting over it

I cannot work mine it got washed in bear :drinks:

I have more understanding of the universe expanding than what that means
