If the problem is that we are in desperate need for a fast-but-ragging-shite player to occupy the right hand side, then he'd be an excellent solution. Though if we're doing that we might aswell get Jermaine Johnson back, and Johann Smith.

Would anyone like to suggest why this guy, after leaving Bolton, has made no impact in France and is currently subbing for Hull ?

They were just unhappy Biff. I don't think they liked the fact he didn't clap his own fans but clapped us. I guess maybe as there had been a lot of handbags between the fans throughout the game and they were annoyed enough about the result - and didn't expect one of their players to "side with us". I don't know, I didn't dwell on the point with them.

 

I guess in a similar situation, Bolton fans could equally unimpressed if one of our players was to ignore us and clap the opposition fans after being beaten. Maybe.

looked to me like he clapped both bolton and hull fans, then again i wasn't watching through the red mist of defeat.

As Ani suggests, I am not sure what Mendy has ever doen to think he would be any good for us, he was absolute garbage when he was with us several years ago, and I've not seen anything to suggest that he has improved too much

That Andy May looked a good un when we had him on loan.

 

Let's get him back.
