[Well it was a better performance than last week, but that would not have taken much, we started with 4-4-2 which worked quite well, then we scored and Smegson changed it! What a PLONKER that man is! I am not a fan of Shitshoe but apart from the goal (his error) he played well, but then again we where playing a championship side who where far better than us for the majority of the second half, Let hope theres quite a few million in the kitty to spend because we need it, but then again money was available for this season and it was either wasted (Ellmander) or players wouldn't come (to many to mention) Am I glad this season is nearly finished, its been dreadful. MY wishes for next season-A couple of goal scoring strikers, someone to command the midfield, A new manager and a new board and some mega rich tycoon to buy the club!

Come on you whites!!!!!!!

No but would you turn out when every fucker thinks your a cunt but achieving a bit more each season?

to be fair to deanoh he does keep turning up on here.

We've got a less points per game ratio this season than for the games he was in charge of last year, so where is the bit more?

Finished last year with 37 points goals for 36 against 54

This year currently 41 points goals for 41 against 53

4 points more 5 goals more one less against upto now thats a little bit more, I aint claiming to be a Megson lover or supporter etc but cant knock what he has done

I'm talking about the one's he was in charge of!. If you exclude Sammy Lee's matches , then Megson got 32 points from 28 games last season, he's now got 41 from 37. Therefore his points per game ratio is lower this season, how is that progress?

then Megson got 32 points from 28 games last season, he's now got 41 from 37.

So that means we only had five points from 10 games when GM took over!!!

My god, I had forgotton!!!

41 points over a 38 game season would see us safe 9 out of ten seasons

they're too weak too admit Megson is a dreadful manager

Why do you think you know the personalities and flaws of everyone who disagrees with you.

Have you ever read the bible?

Matthew 7:2-5

Deanoh and Olly, you are entitled to your opnions but why the fuck do you think repeating the same opnion time after time is of interest.

I do understand your reasons for deciding not to back the team anymore, but please do not feel the justify yourselves or try and convince others they should follow your lead, it is fucking boring.

I have not tried to convince anybody else to follow my lead. I have just voiced my opinions and mentioned that I am not renewing my season ticket. What others decide to do with their free time and money is up to them. When I am at the games I back the team and I have just vented my frustration at the lack of value I think I am getting and the lack of enjoyment.

Well it made up my mind for next season. If we play like that when there is no pressure and we are safe forget it. No passion, ability or entertainment. I am not renewing my season ticket unless that prick is sacked.

We must have been awful today. Even some of the "usual suspects" who defend the defenceless are not defending todays display and lack of effort.

1 win in the last 10 games says it all.

If Megson had any respect for the football club he would resign after the next match.

If Gartside had any respect for the fans he would offer Megson a severance payment after the next match.

Unbelievable, You going to now tell me that megsons tactics are good?

where did i say such a thing?

didnt see much wrong with today, other than a basic lack of quality, and possilby a couple of players thinking of holidays.

and i want kelly brooke to pop out of the telly and blow me off...

Well I thought today's game was quite exciting with lots of goalmouth action and loads of passion from the two teams. I was entertained. Hull certainly gave it a good go. I thought Warwick Rimmer had a good game when he came on for Shittu in the first half. (Only the owd 'uns will understand that). The referee made a few strange decisions but he was consistent and not favouring either side. The new strip looked better in the flesh than having seen it on here. The worst bit was te drummers at half time.

Hi all, first post but long time watcher of the board. Some of the drivel posted on here lately has made me post.

For some people it seems as if Megson won the UEFA Cup it wouldn't be good enough as it should have been the champions league. My god give the man a break. He took over a side that had recently lost a few key players, had no confidence and didn't know what tactics they we supposed to be playing and kept us up. He is now trying to build his own team (that takes time) and in my opinion has the nucleus of a good young English squad. A far cry from the aging foreign and highly paid squad we were left with post Allardyce.

It is not possible to go and build a quality winning team overnight just like you can't build a world class business overnight - things take time it's a shame some folk on here don't have the intelligence to understand that.

People need to appreciate that we are Bolton Wanderers NOT Real Madrid or god forbid Man U. Our key priority each season has to be staying up and anything else is a bonus. Sad but true. Anyone remember Charlton fans wanting rid of Curbishly because he'd taken them as far as he could. Look where they are now. Anyone want to swap places with them???? Thought not.

To you doom mongers out there get a grip on reality. Accept that unless we sell our soul to a middle eastern investor or whore ourselves around the world to anyone who waves a wad a money in our faces (like most of the premiership sides do) it's going to take a miracle to break into the top 6 on a regular basis. Personally I like the fact that we are a stable British run club and are one of the few who should this UEFA 6+5 rule come in would not have to change our existing first team.

No mate none of the above I'm afraid. Long standing season ticket holder in ESL who has a realistic view on life.

I simply appreciate that I support a club that's about to have another season in the one of the best leagues in the world that has not got intself into ridiculous amount of debt for the pleasure

I'm sure I'll soon be dragged kicking and screaming into the kind of illogical dross that many people post on here.

Although I agree with your sentiment, I would suggest a debt of ?53.5 million shows otherwise.

Hence the reality of having to maintain Premiership football by any means possible even if that alienates our own fans by the way we have to achieve it!

I'll guarantee Boltondiver will say it was a splendid performance.

High chance of relegation next year as we can't rely on Sir Kev to repeat his goal haul.

Are you taking the piss?
