Are Ryanair Taking The Piss Entirely?

They want an extra fiver to online check in on my computer, using up my time to print out my boarding pass with my printer on my paper thereby saving them a job, plus they've stopped advertising prices on their site with taxes included, which I had thought was a legal requirement. A ?9.99 flight is all of a sudden ?37 summat once you click on it. Well, they can f?ck off.

The Insurance part is best the have put it Alphabetically so NO TRAVEL INSURANCE is in the middle of countries so people cant find it and select United Kingdom which is at at the top of the Alphabet for some strange reason.

We've had this discussion on here before. It's pretty much a case of the flights cost next to nothing, so they try to make up their money on other things (baggage, online check-in, meals etc) - they still generally work out to be cheaper than everybody else. It's all about choice, if you don't like it then book with somebody else

Thomas Cook want ?40 to book your seats online!

I think you've read it wrong. They'll pay you ?40 if you want to book online to Sunny Beach!

Then why the underhand tactics?

I think some of the things described here cross the line from 'Marketing' into dishonesty

I agree, it is kind of underhand. Although you know as well as I do that "Marketing" is all about stretching/bending the truth

As mentioned on here before though, Ryanair want to get to the point where the flight is actually free, and this will be how they advertise, to be honest, the flights are not far off that anyway. All the "add on" are were they will make the cash.

I fly with Ryanair quite a bit, and for buisness travel they are pretty good and cheap (as I never have any baggage)

Utter shithouses.

I'd rather pay more than fly with those arses again.

Dont forget the ?10 they charge you to pay on your card.

And that's every card they accept including Maestro with the exception of Visa Electron. Who the hell has Visa Electron.

Notwithstanding this I have got return flights from Bristol to Eindhoven for ?25 total so can't really complain.

you can buy ryanair vouchers on your card at no supplement

then use said vouchers to pay for your flights

That'd be nice...

I shall give a report when I come home ( not that many will be interested, opinions seem set in stone ;) ) we're two young lads though, so not too fussed aslong as there is beer and women.

Don't blame you lad, live and learn. enjoy it and make your own mind up, we had 2 beltin' days at Sunny Beach (and 2 in Sofia) when we played plovdivvies, hot, cheap beer and plenty loose wimmin, just don't go on the beach for a bj when it's dark because you might get robbed (allegedly)

The trick was get your mates to mind your stuff while you go off down to the beach, so i was told  . From what ive read and heard from a mate who has a villa over there now its full of mucky women so you shouldnt have to pay, unless your a right ugly cunt :pardon:

Easyjet say you have to check in online and print your boarding card off, however, after doing this I have to go to check in to check my luggage in then they will give me a new boarding card rendering the first one useless.

Done that bud but wondering if I pressed the wrong button to give me a cabin bag only when I am almost sure I paid for a bag to go in the hold each way.Want to take shaving gear, toiletriesl etc but wouldn't be allowed to take on as carry on luggage.
