I know there's been a few deaths already including the leg-end, Michael Foot, today so at least three of us have got one dead.

And that is why, Bobcat, I pay no mind to your posts.

I've never liked Thatcher, but I wouldn't dance round her grave.

In my opinion a good and brilliantly clever man, but never in a millions years was he ever going to lead any party to an election victory.

I can't fucking wait until she dies, although hopefully it will be a slow and painful death.

why ? michael foot and the other labour leaders of that era gave into the unions, thatcher took them on and won.

who was to blame for this country's demise is debatable .

greedy union's or yuppie money makers..

you decide.

however when tony and gordon's obituaries are read out they will have a lot more to answer for than either foot or thatcher.

who'd have thowt it

When push came to shove, he supported the Falklands campaign against the wishes of the loony left who he had always been associated with through the Fabian Society etc.

For that he deserves respect even though, in my book, he was a commie b?stard who would have sold us out to his friends behind the Iron Curtain if the opportunity arose.

This lady, however, is living legend and long may she remain so:-

Why would he have sold us to 'Commie Bastards?' Foot was a real patriot - hence his support of the Falklands. He was also a real football fan, not just a politician who pays lip service to get more votes. Loved his cricket as well.

Blair's a tennis fan. Read into that what you will.

He was a Plymouth Argyle fanatic and for that, once again, I can give the man some respect. Would have been easy enough to jump on an Arsenal or Chelsea bandwagon.

Foot was an idealist, some of those ideals meant he was never likely to win an election.

Politicans these days will say anything to win a vote, arguably that makes them better politicans because at the end of the day a politican wants to do as well as they can in the polls, but the fact Foot stood up for what he believed makes him a much better person that people gave him credit for in the day.

Good to see a right wing thug like Bolty :D at least giving him credit.

Bobcats opinions are based on the first 4 pages of the Sun so we can ignore him
