Do any of you cloppers use one, I only need one for a short time hence the reason why I'm looking at PAYG

So, network and deal recommendations required

No idea, think you need to XL package maybe.

Use one for work, great if you're sat in a hotel idly looking up porn. Useless if you are trying to do actual work on a train.

I think its T Mobile. They also seem to work better if you have a longer dongle, rather than a stubby little one. Fanarr fanarr

I've got an 02 one. Long stumpy thing, about 3". Black.

It does not move form one day to the next but the signal quality can be anything from 80% to dont fucking bother.

Speedwise its OK. Not for downloading files but fine for browsing the web.

I'm on T-Mobile - but have a contract. Still good connection, cannot complain. Watch porn in HD no problems.

What he said.

I used to use mine all the time until i found out i could detect and piggy back off the neighbours wireless connex for nowt..........

if you want one just for at home, then check if your mobile has a good 3G connection and if so then maybe go with them. The range of 3G masts is much smaller than 2G so it really does depend on your local coverage.

If its speed you are after, Vodafone is head and shoulders above the rest (mainly towns at the moment though), if it is coverage you are after then O2 is best at present. Forget 3 and T-Mobile (same 3G network) unless you get a good signal at home and they offer you a cheap deal (they often do though)
