this is my latest film recommendation

great film

I'll be honest, I must be getting sensitive as I get older but found it to be very shocking and violent

not be long till something like this happens

if it hasn't already

This was my favourite film of last year. Very brutal but a good film that affects you for days afterwards.

If you're being remotely serious, don't bother with Alice in Wonderland, it's shite

Eden Lake is very good, stars the lad out of Skins.

Found Shutter Island quite underwhelming.

i think the ending is what makes this film so good.

I thought the ending was very good but it was pretty disturbing...

got this one coming next: Salo / The 120 Days Of Sodom

sounds a belter

"Because of its scenes depicting intensely graphic violence, sadism, and sexual depravity, the movie was extremely controversial upon its release, and remains banned in several countries to this day."

"The film focuses on four wealthy, corrupted fascist libertines in Benito Mussolini's Italy in 1944 who kidnap a total of eighteen teenage boys and girls and subject them to four months of extreme violence, sadism, sexual and mental torture before finally executing them one by one."

"In the Circle of Shit, the passions escalate in intensity from mainly non-penetrative sex to coprophagia. A most infamous scene shows a young woman forced to eat the feces of the Duke; later, the other victims are presented a giant meal of human feces."

Was a impulse viewing for last night but how hard is this film to get hold of? Blockbuster don't have it on the shelp anymore and none of the Big superstores stock it even though it's been out since 2008.

WW Masons time again. Anyone do us a good copy, pay you in kind wink.gif

I thought this film was in Italian??

I thought this film was in Italian??

It is, Pasolini's take on the Marquee De Sade's unfinished novel. It would take someone to really be into their cinema to appreciate this film. It's fairly disgusting. If you've seen any of Pasolini's stuff then you could probably hack it. Think.. shit eating slaves in Gestapo occupied Northern Italy (it's set in World War II Northern Italy). The picture is naff too as it was banned and never re-mastered as far as I know.
