Be interesting to see how much of Europe follows suit and bans it now and where the UK will be at the end of it all. I watched a Sky news thing the other week about a bloke in Pakistan in the areas where the Taliban were wading in and reeking havoc on towns. He had 2 daughters, there didnt seem to be a mother. Anyway, this bloke had to move out of the town as he loved his daughters so much he wanted them to be well educated and to have happy lives. He mentioned the whole issue about the covering their face during the interviewand said something similar to I have about them being beautiful girls who deserved a good life. I wonder what he'd think of these women over here with so many life choices who do this.

As I said, each to their own, but I'm sure that bloke would love for his daughters to actually have a choice.

The majority of folk who are religious cherry pick the bits that suit them. Always have done. Obviously your zealots will be word for word, but the rest? Nah. Eg, Catholics and contraception.

I wouldn't say I make a fuss, but yes, there seem to be many who do. Strangely they're men too, well not strangely, but I see this as a woman's issue rather than a mans, probably because I am a woman. I'm no feminist, but when you see what some women go through in primative countries, I do wonder why a British born woman would want to wear one.
