They didnt go looking for any Blackpool fans. My brother was there, and he said the police wouldnt let them get in anywhere for a drink in Blackpool and escorted them back to the train station. The Police in their infinite wisdom thought it would be a good idea to escort 50 drunk lads to the station just as the Blackpool fans pulled up on their train. What did they think was gonna happen? I aint condoning the behaviour of the lads from Bolton one bit (not all of them were Bolton fans either) but the Blackpool lads all jumped on one Bolton fan and gave him a good kicking so it went off.

Although I don't condone what happened I think that all the bouncers mobbing up and kicking off with the lads on a leaving doo was out of order, from then onwards it was game over as the OB rounded most up and escorted them to a train station where hundreds of Blackpool fans were returning so the police had better take a look at themselves for this one too, plus Blackpool have been spouting off that there will be a revenge attack for the stabbing so unfortunately these factors led to the mayhem.

so 2 fans get arrested outside a club (I bet thet never happens in Blackpool over the weekend) and it was only Blackpool fans that got arrested at the station if it was that bad and you had 70 coppers there wahy no Bolton Fans

heard from quite a reliable scource in blackpool that karl oysten has been having an affair with a woman at the club,his wife has found out and is in the process of taking him to the cleaners,therefore probably making him bankrupt,which would force him to stand down as chairman,under premier league regulations anyway.jumped before hes pushed methinks.

this story makes more sense than being the chairman of 15 years,of a club that has risen through the divisions to compete in the holy grail of the premiership and then stand down,one game in, just because he doesnt like the agents.that simply just wouldnt make any sense.

really is typical of this shower of a club,even though they have done all they could ever wish for,they still manage to make a mockery of themselves and their fans.

they tried to sign that lad from bournmouth,he had a medical,but then told him they could only match the wage he was on at bournmouth!
