Needs A Slap.....

bolty58

Recommended Posts

I never said that you wanted to slap a kid; I was stating that my reason for posting on this thread was to enquire why someone (bolty58) wanted to slap a kid. Try to keep up! Just for the record, I've got plenty of life experience 'mate' and I appreciate the fact that you would make the above exception for me, it shows that I've clearly made an impression

And, I'm not your 'mate' :nea:

I understand where you are coming from but no, it's not the same. I'm talking about this culture we seem to have in Bolton whereas we have a mob who, in an attempt show to flex their Britishness attach themselves to this club and the bigoted side of it's support. Next thing we know, they're singin the sash and shouting about 'fenian bastards' and singing f@uck the pope, up the UVF etc... After that it develops even further, who were these clowns from Bolton who were writing to jonny adair in prison and getting billy wright tatoos?? These people are detested by many amongst their own communities in which they have destroyed with drugs and murder yet some guy from Bolton who knows little/nothing about the subject can idolise them from afar, generally because it started with this little obsession with Glasgow Rangers and a pro-brit stance.

Yep, I can see that, and have seen it, but see if you can spot the difference and explain the difference in the following, that's the bit i can't get.

You see, I cant see a difference, only a few words.

And by the way, thanks for your example of how shockingly inaccurate wikipedia can be. Maybe thats were you get alot of your shite from

Whilst I agree with you that wikipedia is only as good as the information put on it, I don't actually use it too often to FIND facts but do quite often use it to confirm views I already held. My quoting of wikipedia in having a similar opinion to myself means one of three things: 1- it is merely coincidental that my view is also held by someone else - who saw fit to post it on wiki.

2 - it is actually a fact that tims are as stated on wiki.

3 - the word Tim has never been a derogatory term for a celtic supporter and wikipedia is actually written by me in order to back up my own opinions.

Without trying to sound argumentative, I can see a difference. Bolton and Glasgow are culturally very very different places.

Rightly or wrongly alot of people in Glasgow have been brought up with an 'us' and 'them' mindset from a young age. This is not the case in Bolton so why go looking for it? A lad in Glasgow may have been brought up around music such as 'boys of the old brigade' (a song which i would not consider sectarian) and stories of Irish resistance. Orange marches and orange halls are the norm in Glasgow as are the tunes and the stories which accompany those.

It's common knowledge that on the 2 sides of this divide there are 2 football clubs and rightly or wrongly these feelings and this history are known to manifest themselves on the terraces of these clubs.

I struggle to see why somebody from a place such as Bolton/Burnley/Wigan etc with no prior connections to these clubs or to the history and their cultures would want to attach themselves to the negative elements amongst their support. I've had bolton fans on here reminding me that 'the famine is over' and other such racial slurs, i expect that (however unacceptable it is) from a blue nosed lad straight out of Govan but I find it odd to hear it coming out of the mouths of lads from Bolton.

4 - Wiki is guilty once again of trying to pass off a common misconception as a fact

You are probably the biggest dickwad I have encountered on here. Go on then, show me anywhere where bolty58 said he wanted to slap a kid. You can't. I wouldn't. Stop trying to take the moral high ground when your arguments are based on falsehoods or figments of your twisted imagination. Won't work on here pal, this lot are generally too bright.

The tongue in cheek suggestion was that his old man should pull him into line. He's in Provos corner at 6 years old FFS. It was probably beyond your cerebral capabilities to read this into it.

Now then - this f?cking dogshit you keep spouting about the number of Bolton/English lads who have Rangers leanings. Many of us have visited Ibrox many, many times. The treatment our wonderful armed forces receive there is humbling. I need no other reason than that to feel an affinity with them and if that doesn't sit well with you then good.

Contrast that welcome the forces get at Ibrox to the shameful scenes by your Provos at the poppy protest. Or with the previous year where they turned their backs on the minutes silence.

This is not about religion. Obviously has political overtones. For me it's just a simple friend v. foe; good v. bad scenario. Britains enemies are my enemies. This would seem to include you.

1 - That's fine, I'm glad that's the case. I was just getting a bit worried for you as it has taken 3 pages of posts before you've answered me on that one. Oh by the way, try not to talk about yourself in 3rd person, retards do it!

2 - Sarcasm, they say it's the lowest form of wit but i'll let you off with that one as it was mildly amusing.

3 - ''Provos corner''? Why is it? I know from some lads who stand over there that the feelings on the provisional movement ie sinn fein are very mixed indeed in that part of the ground.

4 - I'm with you on that, almost brings a tear to my eye

5 - There she goes again with this 'provo' stuff

6 - There was another thread on this which got locked so I'll respect the wishes of admin/mod/whoever locked it and not comment on that.

7 - I'm no fan of your's, infact i think you come across as a bit of a c@nt.

You have nearly 7000 posts on an internet forum, I don't think you are in much of a position to be preaching about life experience! Go outside, it's really not that bad!

Thanks, "Tim"

Your advice is much appreciated

You entitled to your opinion sonny. I have been called a lot worse and you already know the feeling's mutual. Looking at who you've insulted since your unwelcomed arrival here, I have a feeling there'll be a lot more than me who would think that c?nt is rather a mild description for a lowlife such as yourself.

Yesterdays result at the piggery reminded me of that excellent headline 'Supercallygo ballisticcelticwereatrocious' :yahoo:

5 points clear tonight for the Queens XI? Let's hope so.

To be honest i'm fine with anyone supporting anyone has their 2nd club, what i'm not fine with are those who bring the negative element along with them. A pub i was in, in a town not too far from bolton was attacked by a mob from burnley once who also had rangers as their 2nd team, windows were smashed in and a few of them got inside and there was a bit of a kick off although place was full of families, pointlesss. It's this type of ''supporting rangers as a 2nd club'' that i cant get my head around. I've never in all my life seen that happen in Glasgow (though i know that it does from time to time) so why round here?

Bear with me here because I've been on the pop for 16 hours, but how the fuck do you go from 'Burnley attacked a pub' to Burnley fans support Rangers?

More a comment, really, but you can respond, if you like

Better cricket today

Oh yes, Messrs Cook, Strauss and Trott have given em plenty to stew on tonight.

Of course, the locals are already saying that the Ashes trophy can't be presented at the end of this series as Australia v South Africa does not count. They really have selective memories. They have had plenty over the years but that's all forgotten.

Oh joy yet more bickering around the Glasgow bigotry!

Oh go and knit some yoghourt Frank. FFS, the last comment was about cricket. Just don't read the thread?

Bolton Dim will be along shortly to liven things up again. Excuse the typo, I meant Bolton Tit.

Yeah course you can. But why?

Now then Dim, maybe a previous FT* had something to do with it? Maybe the fact that you live in Britain but are anti British? Maybe the fact that you're possibly the most annoying c?nt a lot of us can remember on here?

Where would life be without a mystery eh?

Can i tell you to go fuck yourself too?

Your only posts on the forum seem to be WUM type posts winding up the rangers mob?

The rangers mob biting and having a pop back don't cover themselves in much glory but then again logic is never present when the old firm is concerned.

why anyone from bolton would want to support any team in scotland to the point of bitching about it on a BWFC forum is beyond me.

If you don't mind me saying, you seem a little wound up yourself.

Anyway, do you have any other specialist subjects you could post on so you don't sound like a broken record quite so much? Ta.
