Wigan will piss it this season with the squad they have and most of their players have come through their youth system which is how it should be. Saints will have a tough season while they are playing out in Widnes, their fans arent too struck on it. Warrington have bought a decent team but dont have anywhere near the depth Wigan have. Leeds squad is ageing and their youth system is bringing through a few but not enough. Huddersfield similar to Warrington.

Sam Tomkins is a real superstar and is somebody worth paying money to watch, he would piss it in union but he doesnt fancy it apparantley and has signed a 5 year deal with Wigan.

Rugby league is a cracking game, i can watch a match of any level and be entertained. It makes a nice change to watch people trying to smash each other rather than diving around like pussies a la football or play kick and shag but dont try and score a la rugby union.

Yup anything and evreything. Prefer services apts.

We've got 3 days, not sure whether to stay in Brisbane and travel down for the game or stay in GC itself.

I can answer that one! Fooking Gold coast mate! Once you've done Caxton Street in Brissie, there ain't much else. GC is party central! You have seen the Gold Coast parking meter maids, right?

Need I say any more?

Nar then - how many lads to accommodate?

How the f?ck did it ever go global? ;)

Because its piss easy to play it. Half of them are fat cunts who favour darters never mind pro sportsmen

I watched England vs France the other week. What a load of fucking shite. It was a penalty shoot out with about as much skill as a pint necking contest.

Going to my first RL game this season in a couple of weeks at Craven Park. I lost many bets after watching the worst ever Leigh match in my history at the same ground last season. Its going to be payback for me.

Smiffs - I knew you were a man of taste :good:

Is that 2 of you a serious number mate? Need to know for accommodation recommendations. I am half thinking that you were referring to spit roasting a meter maid so thought I had better check :D

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tyls - you are obviously from Tyldesley so I'll take your views on RL v RU with the Dead Sea. I thoroughly enjoyed the England v France game but, each to their own. Some people in 3 counties and two Australian states agree with you. Unlike you, however, I am capable of watching a good RL game without being too critical. Freely admit it's a hard game for tough men. Hate all this stop/start tackle count horse shiyte though. Funny you comment about fat f?ckers. In the Eddie Waring 'up and under' days, there really were some fat c?nts playing your game. Admittedly, things have moved on because of the Aussie influence (i.e. their fit lads were monstering ours).

Smiffers - starting to look good. Ainsley from the Borderline Nuisance Scooter Crew organises all of their musical/entertainment events and is also actively involved in their on line radio show:-

Turns out he is a mad Wire fan from Warrington and it sounds like he is the lad to sort some things for you like where to get your woggle buffed; eyt a decent pie and suchlike which you RL types like to do.

Philthy who runs BNSC even offered to put two of you up but pointed out that he is out in the hinterland about 35 minutes drive out of central GC and is surrounded by scorched countryside and beef cattle etc. From my experince this means an almost permanent shitty stink and fooking millions of aggravating little bastard flies. He suspects you might be better served in a serviced apartment bang in the middle of everything so they will be back with recommendations on that score.

Top lad but is Exeter RU :D

Good man! I shall return to this nearer the time. :good:

Still need to arrange flight changes with Emirates who are not playing ball at present even though we're trying to cur short the flights paid for, not add to them. The flip flop wearing fuckers.

FWIW Rugby League followers never seem to promote their game and just knock Union.

I will be at HQ for the game on Sunday, should beat the Scots to set up a cracking finale in Dublin.

Looking forward to both games. Reckon we'll trounce the jocks and Dublin will be interesting! Irelands attack is as good as anyones but defensively, there are plenty of holes. Grand Slam would be lovely.

Was at Wiggin vs Hull today with the old man. Was a proper tasty game with about 3 brawls and a red card. Thats entertainment :good:

Hull fc fan here, How were we?

Reckon its anyones title this year but reckon its going to be Warrie!

You werent bad, a bit shithouse at times but you really should of won. Discipline probably lost it for you in the end even though Wigan had a man sent off.

Wigan, Warrington & Huddersfield are the best 3 teams ive seen but theres a long way to go.

Mick, you going to Barrow Leyth on Saturday?

Kick off fotched forward to 5.30.

Fucks my plan up of leaving OT a bit early and getting up to Barrow for 6.30 for a double header.

Posted (edited)

Yeah, thats shite that. Fucked up my day also, i was supposed to go watching Leigh v Chorley, but the RL takes preferance this Saturday. Just want to see Barrow get turned over by a massive score, plus the helicopter what was parked on Spa Rd to take us up to Cumbria got vandalized. and soiled.:D
