Rabbit

Featured Replies

I thought a wild rabbit was a called a Hare, but thinking about it, Bugs Bunny wasn't like a pet and a bunny is a small rabbit, so I guess there's a difference, I doubt the difference is that much, probably the teeth or ears.

And the fact one is fucking rapid and the other just hops along? And the size?

There's a number of differences.

Well I'd say a Hare looks a little like a mini me Kangaroo.

Cant believe it took 19 posts to mention the 'other' type of rabbit! This sites going soft!

You wont be the first to struggle getting the stink off your rabbit....BADUMTISH!

Fuck me Dan. You've started summat here.

Rabbits, wild rabbits,t'other rabbits, Bugs fuckin' Bunny, hares and a kangaroo.

My bald Uncle had 15 Rabbits tattoed on his head. Apparently, from a distance they looked just like Hares.

Anyway Diddles, a little bedtime reading for you.

Marvellous grub. I used to look forward to my grandmothers rabbit pies.

Good to see folk still eat em. They have plagues of the fookers here yet the fluffy bunny brigade (our Maud included) have somehow kept them off the dinner plate.

Madness. Better than chicken.

Diddles - look into the way they fire up greyhounds to race more truly and also google 'hare coursing'. It will assist in not mixing up rabbits and hares and may stop you sleeping for the next few nights :D

3 hours in and smells lovely! No bad smells as predicted.

Not sure whether to leave it on low overnight, or switch it off in an hour or so and then cook it again in the morning. Meat is quite tough coming off the bones and rib cage/backbone so I'm going to leave them in until it's done and then should just pull off easily.

Aye switch it off, and put it back on low in the morning - unless you're planning on having it for brekky?

:D

Oh, and if the juice is looking a bit thin, stir a coupla tablespoons of flour in. :good:

Give it a dignified burial.

Off topic, but when me neighbour's cat died his missus made him bury it. Then, a few years later, when they moved she made the poor cunt dig it up to transport it to their new garden!

Lad at work recently went to Dalian in China for a conference and got talking to an ex-pat who it turned out was in the dog house (no pun intended) with his UK missus he'd just persuaded to go out there. Missing her old pet he told her he'd buy one for her, so they went down the local market, saw a stall full of cats in a cage and she picked out the cutest looking one. Whereupon the stall owner grabbed it, smacked it down on the slab, lobbed its yed off with one machete blow, skinned the fucker and popped it in a bag - all within 30 seconds :pardon:
