put 31 out of 32 ticket details I was going for on the system only to be timed out! Double barrelled names are a bastard when you're in a hurry ;)

fcuking excuses

i'll do it next time :)

Great play of fate has come on our side.

8 kids in our group, so we wanted front row seats for a good view and remove the risk of standing up. Had our eye on the ?40 tickets right at the front of the lower tier but after 45 minutes waiting to get to the on-line system found that they didn't seem to be any.

Anyhow, got timed out in trying to locate these tickets and then internet connection crashed. So had to start again with the crawling waiting bar.

Meanwhile the constant pressing of redial on the phone followed by pressing 1-1-2, finally produced a ringing sound. The man from TicketMaster is the man! The front row seats we were aiming for are only available to telephone callers and they had plenty left!

Jobs a good 'un.

As for people saying well done BWFC, I assume you are praising them for out-sourcing to TicketMaster?

You see there lies the problem, with women and kids going to wembley, there are gonna be proper lads losing out who can't go now

Realistic

Its far better having a guaranteed view of the pitch, even though given that the viewing angle isn't the best, than trying to balance a 8 year old stood on a seat whilst holding a 5 year old to see over / past everyone who is stood up in front. I've done it twice at away games with the lads and now I sacrifice the better viewing angle to accomodate.

All the kids in our group have season tickets, its the mates who are the hangers on

women and kids (who actually have no interest in football), no

this is not a family fun day out!

You said that like Bolton shouldn't get any credit for having the nouse to do this. Though the ticket office have been helpful to all those who've enquired if you check the posts.

Whoever provides the service surely the point is that it works, gets tickets to the right people and 2 or 3 hours sat at a desk waiting for a computer to update is easier than queuing up at silly o clock in whatever weather.

I'll take that as a bite :good:

i reckon i'd better get up :)

ill sort parking out later - 3 cars?

Sorry chaps, you mis-read my line, and reading it back I could have written it better.

I was saying that TicketMaster deserve plenty of praise too. I've slagged them off in the past but well done. Well done to BWFC for out-sourcing this function which then has probably freed up time to help with the queries that No Balls mentions.

Well done all round.

The City and Stoke fans at work are gutted. They've a weekend of doing physical queueing to look forward to!

i reckon i'd better get up :)

Aye, Meldrew said last night that you were sorting that out. I've looked at other options but the parking one is the best/cheapest

Maybe people who have been at work are trying to get through and buy tickets?

Maybe letting the Ticket Office deal with them is a good idea?
