Even I don't want to see mine. I always shower with my eyes shut, like they taught us at school.

Just in case you Northern monkeys think we denizens of Berkshire, Surrey and the posher SW postcodes of London go round speaking "my bad" etc. as above, please be assured that we don't, and you won't have to suffer it around the Eight Bells next week.

EG. I stated cockneys and again its more of a younger generation saying!

I've only ever heard it on American TV

So has all that pearly king, apples & pears, etc all gone to shit since the script from Clueless became a guide to the English language?

Bugger.

Werder, its common in london, my ex was a cockney and everyone said it hence the reason I've picked it up :)

  • Author

NB..its one word that cockneys use, everyone still talks apples and pears!

Oh surprise, here we go again

I was being sarcastic.

Never mind. It's probably just an older person's thing.

My bad.

  • Author

Yes I know you were being sarcastic. I don't expect anything less.

EG. I stated cockneys and again its more of a younger generation saying!

I was reassuring people that on the West & SW side of London that people didn't talk like this, bearing in mind that we're playing Fulham this week. And to be honest, I don't hear it when I'm out in the rougher parts of London (within the sound of Bow Bells) either.

However, I've had enough of this. Au revoir.

Its just a saying, it doesn't make anyone different for saying it so ya don't need to reassure anyone. Only younger people would know of it anyway! But thanks for reassuring everyone, I'm very grateful

the younger generation emo kids say it...as they have picked it up off there American counterparts ITK
