Ricketts Watch

Any sightings?

Any news?

Any step-ups in training?

Gone very quiet, thought he'd be doing some substantive training by now.

Read a post on the website a while back that the poor guy had to learn to walk again from scratch. He was beginning rehab on a treadmill with a specially deigned harness on it, so that it would take off the vast percentage of his body weight and over time slowly re-introduce his leg to his full weight. That was going back a good month or two. i would imagine by now he would be back applying full weight on it and cant be far off starting actual firm ground training, as i know they spend quite a while jogging and jumping on a trampoline.

Is he English or is he Welsh though? :pardon:

it wasnt a calf injury was it?

no it was his achilles! fingerers crossed for his return becuase steinsson has made nervous on a couple of occasions to say the least.

It was his Achilles.

On Goals on Sunday he said "I'm hoping to be back in contention by the time we play swansea at the end of October boyo".

He's clearly Welsh then!

He sounded as Welsh as Ryan Giggs

Or as I mentioned before the very welsh Vinnie Jones!

Are you suggesting the aforementioned special harness was designed (already being used) by the Ricketts couple for something else

Had his appalling clearance to Bothroyd ended up in the back of our net then Saturday's result could, and probably would, have been a lot different.

The sooner the Taff is back the better.

Seconded!
