When he first came to Bolton, he was amazing! You don't go that bad overnight unless something has snapped upstairs. A mental breakdown could be the reason, it's not like he's been completely frozen out until this season.

 

I remember watching a video with Lovejoy Rushden training with the Wanderers, and Steinsson threatened him not to be better than he was. To this day, I cannot tell if he's joking or not.

Ricketts is/was bloody average, debatable between him and our other full backs who better

 

Lee/Holden absolutely carry us though

Say what you like about him, I've yet to see a full back deal with Gareth Bale better than Steinsson did last season.

The injuries and sendings off are killing us we can't get a settled side for 90 mins let alone game to game so in that sense i do feel sorry for Coyle but he certainly isnt helping himself although I don't think steinnsson is the best fullback at the club you do wonder what the hell has gone on with him he was decent and has gone seriously shite over the last 18 months. Playing 3 in midfield was nonsense on saturday as baines overlapped and did for us.

 

It feels like the todd years in the prem where we've lots of nicey nicey players and a nice manager but we're just not good enough, I still desperately want coyle to do well and if we did go down he'd be great to get us up again unless there is a standout candidate then there's just no point getting another megson type we've shown we've not the stomach for that as a club.
