I know there's a few on here who know their shit when it comes to cars, is this just a recipe for disaster?

yes, but only on some cars.

 

usually turbo cars, petrol and diesel.

 

almost pointless on normally aspirated cars.

 

make sure you pick a repected remapper.

 

a custom map (they do it) will almost always have better results than a generic map (one you do via the OBC port on you car)

 

superchips are prob the most well known. although remap snobs will say theyre crap, but at they they are reliable and wont blow your car up.

 

blufin is superchips way to let you remap your own car very easily and remove should you want to.

I am currantly driving a 54 Audi 2.0 TDI 140 bhp that I have remapped to 185 bhp

 

it will be like a totally different car once remapped

it works mate, like I said it depends on the size and depth of the dent, the hairdryer heats the metal up and the spray of liquid CO2 quickly cools it forcing the metal to contract

Me missus has just got one of them new Fiat 500s.

 

The go faster stripes seem to have made it lose 1 of the 15 or so horses it came with.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's sips petrol but I was going up Chorley Old Road the other dy and started looking for the Flintstones button where a hole appears in the floor and I use my feet.

 

If you could remap that up to double figures I'd be grateful.
