Who was that American on the highlights programme last night (with Matt Smith and Townshend)?

I was watching it on mute mainly so didn't catch his name, I'm sure he does American Football punditry.

Didn't watch it but the only American sounding pundit I can think of is Gabriel Marcotti.

 

Always thought he was a cunt when he used to be on Talksport... but maybe it was his accent that was (unjustly) making me doubt he actually knows anything about "soccer".

Yeah, that's him - must have seen him on Italian football sometime, I thought Jim Beglin had been on a crash-pie diet until he started talking.

if anything, the Ajax game was dodgy with the 2 perfectly good goals they had disallowed at key points in the game

The Olympique players didn't exactly look surprised/jubilant upon scoring, from the highlights anyway.

I wonder what the odds on that outcome was? Can UEFA look into irregular betting patterns? Do bookmakers have any obligation to report anything untoward?

 

Will the Dinamo players suddenly start swanning around in fur coats and crowns?

I think it especially dodgy if Ajax had goals disallowed too (didn't see that game).
