Im not sure about the whole scrap stealing thing, everytime they leave theres always some metal etc left behind.

February 29, 201214 yr They 'flee' because they've normally scouted another area to infest, the dibble are usually wise to this - but if the gyppos get there first they can't prevent them from setting up another camp. Then another eviction notice is applied for and so on...
February 29, 201214 yr Compressed gas cylinders are difficult to process for scrap. Try cutting one up and you may see why.
