Memorial to Firefighter Fleur Lombard QGM

Fleur was the first female firefighter to be killed in action in Britain since World War II. She was searching a burning Co-op supermarket (located across the road from the memorial, on the site where the local Tesco now stands) for "persons reported" when she was caught, and died instantly, in a flashover.

As regards the immediateness of Fleur Lombard's death, I really don't think a flashover can kill that quickly. I also think stuff like immediate is a bit of a comfort for her family who would rather think she died quickly rather than writhing in fucking agony.

I don't mean to glorify her death but am rather more matter of fact than those who were dealing with the family of a dead firefighter.

I couldn't do it in a month of sundays, I'd have to improve my clearance rates and sort my cueing action out.
