February 29, 201214 yr That lad in the Bolton News ordered to do 200 hours unpaid work for chucking stones at working firefighters. Reckon you could find him something to do ?
February 29, 201214 yr Why Fire Engines? he could of thrown them at caravans on Chorley Street Car Park
February 29, 201214 yr I could certainly find him something to do. If it was up to me I'd take him along to a couple of house fires and give him all the kit we have then drag him into the hot stuff. He'd come out shaking like a shitting dog.

March 1, 201214 yr In order; Spider, are you a fireman? Anewman, not far wrong but I haven't forgotten what it's like. Bolty, Bolton's burning doesn't have the same joyous feelings as london's burning.
March 1, 201214 yr More sizes Memorial to Firefighter Fleur Lombard QGM Fleur was the first female firefighter to be killed in action in Britain since World War II. She was searching a burning Co-op supermarket (located across the road from the memorial, on the site where the local Tesco now stands) for "persons reported" when she was caught, and died instantly, in a flashover. Could most of us do this Job? Edited March 1, 201214 yr by james phillips
March 1, 201214 yr Me, a fireman? Don't be silly. Any cat getting stuck up a tree can fucking stay there.
March 1, 201214 yr As regards the immediateness of Fleur Lombard's death, I really don't think a flashover can kill that quickly. I also think stuff like immediate is a bit of a comfort for her family who would rather think she died quickly rather than writhing in fucking agony. I don't mean to glorify her death but am rather more matter of fact than those who were dealing with the family of a dead firefighter.
March 1, 201214 yr I couldn't do it in a month of sundays, I'd have to improve my clearance rates and sort my cueing action out.
