now form reading a few posts on the england manager thread, its becoming more and more apparent alot you lot have give up the ghost regarding support for the national team?

so i ask....where has it all gone wrong?

where you once full of passion for the england team and now your support has waned for a specific reason?

or can you just not be arsed anymore because we are crap?

or have you ever been bothered?

how far away from your passion for bolton is your passion for england?

would you swap our premier league status for england winning the next world cup?

would your passion for the national team increase if you went to the games maybe?

has the flag waving face paint wearers had a inpact in your support?

i must admit,my support for england has subsided slightly, pretty much tied in with i never go anymore, when i was young and had money to burn i racked a good few home games in one belter away...so was up for all games.but i definantly still do give a shit.

i wont miss a game, and will give it my all in the euros (my all being getting bladderd in the pub and singing xenophobic england songs :D)

so whats the crack folks...how come your not arsed anymore?

Of course, silly me. :D

After all, all Suarez did was a bit of name-calling. Name-calling never did anyone any harm. Anyone who is offended should man-up. Also, Suarez is a fantastic footballer, so he should be able to say what he wants.

Oh fooking hell - an NB and DBP tag team effort now is it?

You won't change my mind - that sentence was over the top but there should have been one. Just shorter..

Suarez is a fantastic footballer.

Every one should be able to say what they want IMO. Free speech is a cornerstrone of what made Britain great but is now sadly lost - pissed away by the PC tossers who want to control your thoughts as well as your actions.

For the record, I have no love for Liverpool. Whining vigilholics. Would merely delight in how much them winning 2 pieces of silverware would bend the DMB's out of shape. I fully expect Chelsea to beat them comfortably at the weekend so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Dear, oh dear S. Nice try but it is common knowledge on here that some of my all time heroes (heroines?) are or were strong women. Elizabeth 1, Elizabeth 11 and look no further than:-

Yeah! It's the second most posted image in the history of WW.

When someone accuses Bolty of being sexist and/or swimming against the tide, more commonaly known as refusing to listening to common sense.

This will replace the current 'first most' when dealing with you.

swimming against the tide

It's the modern day equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and going "La, La, La, La" repeatedly if you don't agree with or appreciate another persons point of view

I think you are getting carried away me old son. I respect everyones right to their view. Please show me where this can be disproved.

I read and think about the views of others. Some I agree with, some I don't.

Be a fcuking pointless forum if we all came on here agreeing with each other.

My views won't be changed by yours and I am 100% certain that yours wouldn't be changed by mine.

Swimming against the tide merely means having a view which seems to be at odds with the majority who are posting on here. That is all.

Seems I do it a lot lately but I'll be fooked if that will change my opinions.

so i ask....where has it all gone wrong?

Where do you start? Im pissed off today cos of last night and will have to control myself before I have a 10 page rant.

Players not giving enough and clearly not respecting their position. Rooney publicly slagging fans off for booing being a good example. Im not a 'booer' myself but an international player should be above that. Plus he was gash in that game.

Being light years behind tactically and technically. The way a French youth team made us look like statues at Wembley springs to mind.

The press. The FA - lack of technical youth development and short sightedness. Look at Germanys' approach, Frances' a few years ago. The fact that we have quality but never fulfil potential.

My feeling is that most top 6 club players who have the chance to win things for their clubs give less for England.

. . .

I want us to do well, as much as Bolton, but it's almost like protecting myself from injury if I don't get my hopes up. We wont win it but Id be happy if we have a go and the players look like they care. And i dont mean simply running their arses off for 90 mins like headless chickens playin hoofball.
