Am I Being Harsh?

But I'm sick of seeing Muamba tweeting pictures of him with his 'celebrity friends'.

I'm made up for the fella that he's alive and kicking but he's either a footballer now or he's not. If he is then he should be doing what he can to get himself back playing not turning up at the opening of an envelope to be photographed with his new mates who didn't even know who he was before January of this year.

I have my own opinion and my opinion is this...   You clearly wanted a way of squeezing it in that you have had a brain tumour so people feel sorry for you and agree with your post. You had no need

  • My take, Newton, is that after the feelings we all had when it became obvious we so nearly lost the man, talk of him "milking it" is so off the mark that we shouldn't be airing it. Of course, we are

Muamba can do what he wants, for as long as he wants as I'm just glad he's alive which i didn't think would be the case when i went to bed one Saturday night several months ago. If I'm being honest (I

You could always not follow him on twitter.

I've just stopped following Sordell, as he does nothing but tweet absolute bollocks nigh on 24hrs a day

kind of get what you mean but then again he was probably doing that before only you werent following him?

Got to be more interesting than Gregg Wylde. Gregg Fucking Boring more like.

the lad is just glad to be alive...and is loving every single minute of it.

Regardless of whether I follow him or not it's not going to change his behaviour. My point is he needs to decide whether he's committed to remaining a footballer or whether the celebrity he's become is now his thing

If you read his recent tweets to Stuart Holden you'll see he's still very much commited on getting back on the footy pitch! You ain't telling me if that were you and had photo's with celebs you wouldn't be showing them to folk?? I thought that was the whole point of Twitter?

Cut the lad some slack.

How is he not committed to being a footballer?

Yeah I saw his tweets to Holden but we all know talk is cheap. If the lad comes back it will be a great story but I fear his heart (no pun intended) is not really in it.

do you want him running fcuking marathons?

Oh dear @ this thread.

No I'd like him to be showing some commitment to attempting to come back. I know it might be a long long journey for the guy but all we hear from him is the latest jaunt to London to be seen with some famous people.

Please don't misunderstand me here I'm not underestimating what the guy has been through and I really hope he manages to come back but I guess all I'm saying is I'd like to see some evidence that he's doing whatever he can at this stage of his recovery to come back. I've not seen that but maybe I'm not as all over the Bolton news as some of you lot in here.

the stupidity of some people is incredible

yeah i know

He smiles far too much as well for someone who had a near death experience.

Bloody hell, what's the lad to do to show commitment to wanting to get fit, video himself on youtube doing keepy uppies all day?

I sometimes wonder why I bother opening this site.

I really really do!

As someone who is still recovering from a brain tumour 5 years ago I know what it's like to have to deal with adversity and to have to deal with the possibility of your own death so I'm probably in a better position than 99% of you to comment on this (although no doubt some smart arse will argue the point).

All I'm saying, and many of you will disagree because the opinion formers of this site have jumped on board and you're too weak to have your own opinion, is that I'd like to see some evidence from him that he really wants to come back. Is it too much to ask that someone that is still being paid a vast amount of money by our club shows the fans that he's doing his bit to come back?

i think its good for the club and fans

made up for the lad

How is he not showing his desire to come back?

Everytime he's been interviewed he's talked about wanting to come back but that he'll have to take it slowly and follow the medical advise he's given.

Should he do a weekly press statement re confirming his desire to return?
