Fully agree much rather have him than Jay Spearing, however I think the dislike of Coker goes above the head of Coyle and right to the top of the club, is it a case of cutting your nose of to spite your face, I think it is.

Get him back, I can understand him exercising the right to cancel his contract as he is defo a prem player, he could have done it in a more subtle fashion though

From what I recall he was complimentary about the club. It was just that he wanted to stay in the Prem. Not unreasonable given that he's 28 and getting toward the back end of his career.
