September 3, 201213 yr Are they both Norton? If so, you shouldnt need to install anything, just put the new product code in in 4 days time.
September 3, 201213 yr My Norton allows me to install on 3 PC's, perhaps you know someone in a similar position who'll share with you? Then take your usused copy back to Argos.
September 3, 201213 yr Pay for anti-virus. What a strange concept. I thought that too. I did it once to be fair, till I got told.
September 3, 201213 yr Got four days left before it expires so got a new one today from argus. Get Security Essentials downloaded mon.
September 3, 201213 yr What Ryan said. Fucking Norton, dear god. Bet it set you back about 30 notes as well.
September 4, 201213 yr If you believe your computer to be just too fast, install norton. That'll sort it!
September 11, 201213 yr Just got on that security essentials, had to load defender in safe mode first though as it was riddled! I blame Gonzo dropping the name of his frequented sites on here and me being a nosey cunt seeing whats on em!

I blame Gonzo dropping the name of his frequented sites on here and me being a nosey cunt seeing whats on em! I've just tried to download this, never had it before, and it's telling me it's out of date. Howdo you get this working. (The first bit, not Gonzos frequented sites. I've tried rubbing it with a balloon, covering it in salt and freezing it). Edited September 27, 201213 yr by Juan.Kerr

I assume you mean the Microsoft one? if so, how and why is it any better than Avast or AVG, anyone?
October 2, 201213 yr Seems to pick up everything and gives very few false positives (which is a twat if you download stuff). Also uses next to fuck all resources, is fast as fook and does everything in the background and automatically, you never get any pop ups saying its done this or that, or it needs updating/running etc Edited October 2, 201213 yr by barryk32
October 2, 201213 yr So I should uninstall Avast and go with this? Without knowing how good Avast is anymore, I'd still say yes. I despise most things Microsoft but really cant fault Security Essentials. Its the first 'totally' free one I've used.
