I placed a first goal scorer bet in the ground once, 5 seconds before team was announced and player I backed (can't remember who, may have been Nolan) wasn't even on the bench.

I asked for my slip back to change the bet but was refused because it was already in the system (it was in his fucking hand) and I would have to contact customer services to get my bet refunded.

Last time I placed a bet with the shithouses.

Dawson anytime is a decent bet, was 9/1 at Derby- (unlucky)- 6/1 Hull and 5s last neet , done me fine over last week

But he shouldn't be.

The events are mutually exclusive.

Shirley the more he scores the lower his odds as first/last/any time scorer otherwise bookies would be over=paying and they don't like doing that.

Odds between 11/1 and 20/1 this sat

Yes, that's what happens, but it shouldn't be the case.

If he was 20/1 a couple of weeks ago and next week he's 10/1, which now seems likely.

Is he really twice as likely to grab the opening goal of a game against different opposition who may (or may not) have had time to realise his potential goalscoring ability?

Defenders shoudn't be 10/1 shots to score the first goal. The bookies are taking the piss.

Likely weight of money plays a part, though, doesn't it?

If he's bagged three goals in two games, folk are going to back him.

Bookies aren't going to carry liabilities like that just because it seems fairer to do so.

And then there's no value in the bet, blah blah blah

I can't be arsed anymore.

2 things you never see..

A dead donkey and a poor bookie.

Here's a good tip...don't wipe your arse on a broken bottle.

Maybe look up last time someone made the poor bookie thing as Garp listed fucking loads of them. HTH.

Happy to Help.

Was 12/1 today

I had £5 on Les to score at anytime at 5's. Not a large win but its nice to take money off a bookie.
