Wigan & Blackburn

Some wildly inaccurate figures being banded out all over the place. All the cockwaving about crowds gets a bit tiresome, sort of thing we should leave to Sunderland fans really.

  • I used to like going to west ham with a few fans, it drove them nuts that they always lost to us. At the elmander 2 goal game some cockney super fan was frothing at the mouth at our Shit support. It f

This mocking of Wigans support makes me so nervous I can't dare check our comparative home gates this season!

Wigan - 18,996

Bolton - 17,691

Not the first time Wigan have had a better team than us, but the first time they have ever had a better gate.

That's because Utd, City, Liverpool, Everton et al bring more than Peterborough, my pie-eating friend.

Well mate, can I just say how fucking deliriously happy I would be for you to make it 18,997 against 17,690.

Wigan must average 3000 away fans per game. When they get relegated, they will be lucky to average 13000

The last era Wigan had a better team than Bolton some Boltoners took it really badly and emigrated didn't they? :blum:

Fuck all to do with football mate - and that is a certainty. Bolton Wanderers is still the main thing I miss which is why I fronted up in Skopje and Madrid and have attended a good number of games at Burnden and the Reebok since leaving in '88.

Even arranged for my lad to travel over and lead the team out against Reading at Burnden for an FA Cup 3rd round tie we won 2-0. Great interview of my son by Dave Higson on the touchline which remains family favourite viewing.

To quote the very eloquent Mr. Smiffs 'Don't talk with your cock hanging out'.

They are played at Wembley for 15 years as part of the financial package covering the rebuilding project.

A Newcastle v Sunderland semi would be there, as would Cardiff v Swansea.

It's so wrong, but it will take quite something to overturn it.

If Celtic & rangers were to join the English Leagues, would they also be entering into our FA cup rather than their own?

And if so, would a Celtic v Rangers semi final be enough to not only prevent any further semis at Wembley, if not prevent any further games there at all?
