Boothstown to Astley and back with the dog is a sound walk, managed to get a couple of pubs taken in, did it last year with my sons pets. bgoefc Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 best running routes in the north west We used to drive to Foulridge then run the towpath of the Leeds/Liverpool though Barrowford and Greenberfield locks when training for the GNR.
