May 20, 201313 yr I've never seen them 'rope out' before. Fascinating stuff. Those loonies who chase them must be nuts.
May 21, 201313 yr 50 odd dead Didn't they watch wizard of oz before parking their caravans in Oklahoma?
May 21, 201313 yr I read the headline as "Oklahoma hit by tomato". What causes this shit, and will the US get its arse in gear better than New Orleans?
May 21, 201313 yr I saw an interview with a survivor. He's stood there talking and all the houses around him are flattened, completely flattened. Behind him, however, is a garage still stood strong and proud. The garage is built out of bricks, the houses were made from wood. Do the math, go figure, etc. Edited May 21, 201313 yr by DazBob

May 21, 201313 yr SJM, link above didn't play on my laptop. Same story here though. http://news.sky.com/story/1093711/tornado-survivor-finds-dog-during-tv-interview
May 21, 201313 yr Met some great people from Oklahoma on my states trip. Really top bunch, spent a week getting twisted with them. Been in touch and luckily they were east of the tornado. Big Native American population, on of the guys we met was a Cherokee, top bloke. If it wasn't for all the oil out there and the forced resettlements of the Indian population you wonder why folk would choose to live in a place known as "tornado alley". Another of the guys we met was a disaster manager and he is now in amongst it sorting it out.
May 21, 201313 yr Same here pal, stayed in Oklahoma City and met some great people, fucking nuts most of them. Some had never left their state and had no intention of doing so. RIP
