Work done cash-in-hand..... so guessing I've feck all chance of getting FENSA certificates for a window (fitted 2008) and a door (fitted 2012). What next?

Council will come out, check and certify up to 10 windows (inc. the door) for £103. FFS!

She did mention this by email but got to say didn't understand what she meant at first.

Spoke to the buyer directly and he's not fussed about the windows, but electrics is another matter.

Not sure why an indemnity costs £50 but the Part P costs £100-£110?

Want to do the right thing for both the buyer and myself.

Lack of Building Regulations indemnity insurance policy is what you'll want. You may have invalidated it though if you've already contacted the council and advised them your Windows may not be compliant with building regs..
