Had a valuation done the other month. Offered him a brew, said he wouldn't be there long enough to drink it. Sure as shit, 5-10 mins he was done. I asked what the process was and he said he'd compare house prices in the vicinity online and send the valuation to the mortgage folk. Cost £390. I could've gone online and got the same value - it was no different.

I'll be that feller! I work for an approved inspector. We have our own clients so we can't mess about ripping them off or they go elsewhere. Local authority inspectors are our best form of marketing going with their atitudes. If anyone would be interested in using the company I work for give us a shout!
