August 5, 201313 yr Miami How the fuck are you managing this? He's sat on his crapper surrounded by proggies from 74-5 'til they dropped the black and white covers
August 5, 201313 yr Author He's sat on his crapper surrounded by proggies from 74-5 'til they dropped the black and white covers Bizarrely i've only got 1 programme in my house and that was given to me last week by the in-laws. It's the United away game from 74/75. My brother has loads of 70's/80's Wanderers programmes before he defected to Scouseland On a related theme, has anyone seen the shop in the Lakes, think it's in Windermere where there's absolutely shedloads of Bolton programmes for sale
August 5, 201313 yr fine call sir,i salute you Satan's not on fire tonight I've noticed on previous threads that you and I seem to share a common knowledge for that long forgotten period in Bolton's history from about 80-83, the Division Two years. Dunno if its owt for us to brag too loudly about mind!! :-)

Dunno if its owt for us to brag too loudly about mind!! :-) I know pal,but it's something i wouldn't change for the world. Half of the older posters on here were also present in those days. Days when you could virtually name the entire away following at long distance games We must know each other, without doubt
August 5, 201313 yr I know pal,but it's something i wouldn't change for the world. Half of the older posters on here were also present in those days. Days when you could virtually name the entire away following at long distance games We must know each other, without doubt Its doubtful just because I was very, very young in those days, still at primary school for some of it. Just have very vivid memories. Didn't see many of the away games in that era but was at pretty much all the Burnden matches, mainly in the Manny Road seats in the last row before the Embankment and that red-brick thing they built for tannoy man.

August 5, 201313 yr i started at deane grammar in '80......1980 that is !! so i'm probably a few years older than your good self. it's amazing what memories people have of their younger days Clear as day memories from many games in the 80s. Ask me detail relating to the successful times from 2000 to 2010 and I'll be found wanting! Have to admit to spending a lot of time watching the activities of the gatherings in the Manny Road North terrace!

Have to admit to spending a lot of time watching the activities of the gatherings in the Manny Road North terrace! i was a paddock regular in the eraly 80's then temporarily moved into the lever end in the mid 80's,graduating to the loony bin department of the manny road terrace by 86/87. It was chaos in there
August 5, 201313 yr i was a paddock regular in the eraly 80's then temporarily moved into the lever end in the mid 80's,graduating to the loony bin department of the manny road terrace by 86/87. It was chaos in there I remember the sudden numbers in the Lever End in 83/84! Believe me, the Manny Road North terrace was a rough place from 81 or 82 onwards. Mixture of metalheads/mohicans and dressers. Not to be meddled with!

August 5, 201313 yr Aye,it was a bizarre mix in there. the famous ICF found that out to their cost and pride in 81 That's one of the episodes I remember most clearly. There seemed to be nothing going on... then suddenly an absolute bloodbath. No posturing or arm waving. Full on battling with the keystone Cops from GMP trying and failing to open the perimeter fence to put a stop to it all. Once the Police got in the protaganists seemed to melt away as quickly as they'd arrived. If there are inaccuracies in the above information, remember it was all seen through the eyes of someone 11 or 12.
