Shit Away Kits At Burnden.

Featured Replies

I remember Swansea wearing one of the worst away strips at the replay in the league cup in 76 when we beat them 5-1. It was a mix of red, green and orange.

Sheff weds league cup 1993

Brighton in cup. 91 I think it was.

Hulls home kit about 92.... It was grrreeaat!

The Brighton one mentioned was one of the first pink kits seen I can recall

The sheff weds one probably was the first SEB as every other person decide to tell the same joke about seeing waddle in a wanderers kit!!!

Newport away 1923 remember the kit?

No!

Stockport had a "good" home kit at one time

On about kits, I remember Willie Morgan wearing the old cotton shorts when his team mates were sporting the new lycra brand, he said he felt better wearing them.

Admiral made some iconic kits around that time. Spurs away, West Ham home, etc. Most of them were unique.

And we beat them 3-2 after being 2-0 down. Cant remember wether that was the day they took the Lever end though?

Never understood why Palace ditched that kit for the red and blue stripes, which used to be their away kit.
