November 20, 201312 yr Has anyone on here ever claimed for being smashed into in a car crash? Let's say, in theory, aside from the obvious whiplash claim etc., you needed to claim back for a badly damaged laptop, iPad, satnav and other stuff that got ruined as a result of some fucking tard "not concentrating", how easy is it? What I'm saying is, in theory, should one wish to utterly rinse the cunt who hit you, how far can you realistically take it. Bear in mind, the cunt who hit you is being a cunt about the whole thing and actually deserves it, so it's time he got what was due, legally speaking of course. Your thoughts welcomed.

November 20, 201312 yr When I wrote the works van off,the bloke who I hit came out with about 3k and he didn't even have a a scratch on him. He was just a bit confused when he woke up as to why his car had morphed into a micro machine.
November 20, 201312 yr Does it actually have any comeback on the other driver? I'd just assumed his premium would just go up regardless and his insurance would foot the bill. So, whether you claim for £1k or £10k it'll make no difference to him. Of course, I may be talking utter bollocks. Isn't this Pez's area of expertise? Edited November 20, 201312 yr by DazBob
November 20, 201312 yr Author Would the size of the claim not make the guys premium horrendous next time? All in theory, of course.

November 20, 201312 yr It makes every fucker's insurance more expensive, doesn't it? I thought so, rather than it just affecting that one driver. If so, I'll be bobbing round for whatever mine goes up next year, Spider. Think on Ambulance chasers are cunts
November 20, 201312 yr He was asleep? He was after my ford iveco trampled all over his fiesta. Haha The lady who's house I carriered into got a hefty sum aswell. Plus a new porch, double glazing and fancy pond and water feature for her front garden.
November 20, 201312 yr The laptop etc etc are classed as uninsured losses, along with any other out of pocket expenses not covered under your core motor policy. For instance loss of earnings if you are self employed or the cost of physiotherapy if you are badly injured. Your legal expenses cover, usually an add on, helps you claim these costs back in the event of a claim that isn't your fault... Top salesman back int day me.

November 21, 201312 yr i've heard we've even surpassed USA as the country with the most insurance claims per head of the population. nowt to be proud of is that. dashboard and backseat cams are the future in my opinion, will take dogging to a new level, as an added bonus.
