Are you seriously using that as a reason why we SHOULD be in the top 6? Really?

Fuck me, I thought I'd read it all on here...

Perhaps you should try reading the thread properly then.

The bookies odds just about reflect the current positions

Apart from ours!

You're right, I forgot that Burnley and Blackpool are just above the relegation zone and Derby are languishing in mid-table.

The bookies make guesses about where teams will finish, based mostly on how the teams performed last season. We've established that we had a good run while not necessarily playing well last season, which propelled us up the league and into playoff contention. If we could have done the whole of this season on that form, then yes we would finish in the top six.

Truth is, we're not as good as they thought we were.

Truth is we know that we are not as good as everyone thought we were.

i'm intrigued as to whether that fella at corals is still in employment

You really do need to get your facts reet.

Don't get funny with me!

I can't remember how good I thought we were

I'll take a look

Leicester have a squad that we should be looking to build. Strong, no nonsense with pace and power. It's just that it takes time.

Facts seem accurate to me...

We analyse the promotion and relegation battles - with odds supplied by Coral

If you're not prepared to read the thread properly then leave it to those who are. It'll save me having to explain every single post to you.

I didn't predict where we'd finish

i did predict that we'd have fun.

i didn;t say there wasn't a bookies that had us second favourites

i asked you which one

i now think the corals compiler is in the wrong job

Which of our players do people think any of the play off teams might want ?

Which of our players would get a mention in championship 11.

I like Lonergan but he came from Leeds reserves being 'better than bogdan' does not make you good enough.

Baptiste looked as uncomfortable at RB as he has at left back yesterday (bit harsh as he was up against a decent winger and got booked for a foul by knight).

The centre halves are nothing special.

Medo and spearing are decent

If we believe the squad is so good suppose can stop worrying about the debts as when we sell the players in jan we will be minted !

The thing is I think a lot of them would take individuals

You say Baptiste has looked uncomfortable as a fullback; well he's a great case in point. I agree. But he was signed as a star performer from a rival at the same level and was their captain. If he'd have been offered to all teams in the Championship when we took him, not many would have turned him down. Or Medo. Or Spearing.

Hall, Beckford and Moritz would also have had many suitors but perhaps not as many

But "unwanted"?? Bollocks

Don't forget Pratley was a leading light at Swansea in their promotion year prior to the contractual issues; Tierney was a Prem regular pre that injury at Norwich; plenty would take a chance on Eagles as on his day he rips this league a new arsehole as does Chungy

Now if they were all this good every week we'd not be having this conversation

Underachievers?? Fuck yes. But previously unwanted and uncoveted players our squad ain't full of

You didn't actually ask me anything, you just cast doubt that those odds actually existed. If memory serves, Corals weren't the only ones that had us as one of the favourites for automatic promotion.

Derby wanted him but couldn't afford him which underlines the budget that Dougie has actually had.

it doesn't

all it does is show that derby wouldn't pay him what he asked for

you have no idea what we ended up paying him

derby didn't sign a right back or centre back in the summer so you've got to question whether they ever wanted him

no

you'll need to do better

that tells neither of us owt

Too many clueless cunts on here. What will your excuse be in 12 months?

no
