Site Supporter superjohnmcginlay Posted September 12, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted September 12, 2015 as the rules stand, was it a legitimate catch? and if so, do the rules need canging cos, otherwise, you could stick a fielder 30 yards behind the rope, he catches it with his feet off the floor and launches it back into play to his mate who catches it The ball is in play at the initial attempt, and it's debatable it ever actually goes over the rope in the air.
